Persuading candidates to live and work in Saudi Arabia has been challenging for Aramco, That’s where storytelling can help. We recently visited their offices in London, and trained members of the HR team in new ways of enticing and inspiring new prospects and hires.

After introducing HR to storytelling as a strategy, we worked on delivery skills, restructuring the way they organized and communicated important information. We showed them how to tap in to what is emotionally meaningful, not just what is factually relevant. We helped them insert metaphors and rich language in to their existing presentations and  make stories out of facts. And we created a wealth of  “Counter Stories,”  narratives that can be used to counter resistance to any obstacle.

Phase Two will culminate in the creation of a data base of online stories, generated by the HR team, that can be referenced for future use.
